1. The Russian government has approved the regulations on subsidy payment for the establishment of engineering centers. Universities or scientific institutions must submit their own engineering center development program to receive grants, and should fill up to 30% of funding from out-of-budget sources. In addition, the maximum subsidy for 3 years is 300 million rubles.

2. Scientists at Petrozavodsk National University have found a way to expand the function of artificial intelligence neural networks. By storing and transmitting information on the same principle as neurons in the brain, artificial intelligence neural networks can be used in information classification, image storage and computation.

3. The 2nd Annual Meeting of the Technical Committee for Standardization of'Artificial Intelligence' (TC 164) was held, and about 130 organizations including IT companies, universities, government agencies, and research institutes participated to overcome the regulations and technical barriers related to artificial intelligence, to identify and develop more than 40 professional standards related to artificial intelligence technology

4. The Russian Academy of Sciences Novosibirsk Institute of Chemical Bio and Basic Medicine has developed an individual diagnosis complex for tumor diseases and explained that it will be able to detect thousands of mutations in patients immediately based on the next-generation high-throughput sequencing NGS technology that can sequence the entire genome.

5. Scientists at Tomsk Polytechnic University develop a graft for the development of artificial blood vessels. The newly developed graft can ensure optimal blood flow because the outer layer is easily soluble in water, and the inner layer is not wetted. In addition, it is twice as cheap as conventional methods, making treatment for acute thrombosis much cheaper in the long run
